Hello. I am Daniel Harkin.
I am a Product Design Engineering, graduate of the award winning product design engineering course at the Glasgow School of Art & The University of Glasgow.
I am a no-nonsense, inventive, problem solving designer with a meticulous eye for detail and aesthetic.
I have many years of experience working with smartphone and tablet hardware, and my general love of consumer electronics extends from kitchen appliances to home audio.
Product Design Engineering (PDE) is an award winning degree program, taught at The Glasgow School of Art, and The University of Glasgow.
The course combines studio and workshop education at the Glasgow School of Art, with core Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at The University of Glasgow.
My tandem studies in both disciplines is apparent in my work, with well considered design decisions in aesthetic, usability, and human factors, but also in material selection, structural integrity, and design for manufacture.
